Ravensburger does a great job of labeling all the pieces
This was our first entry into the 3D puzzle world and we had a fabulous experience! Ravensburger does a great job of labeling all the pieces. Sturdy and tons of fun! Easily put together in 2 evenings (or less if you have more time). Looks great lit up at night on our table. Will definitely be purchasing more Ravensburger puzzles in the future!

This is fun to do and nice to look at once its put togather.
This was so fun to put togather. Not too easy...not too hard. The pieces are very sturdy and the directions are great as far as explaining how to put it togather. Once it's all assembled, you switch on the light...and it is so cool!! I still have it sitting on my coffee table with the iridescence light on. It would make a great gift for maybe 9 year olds up to 100!

Fun and educational puzzles
I gave the Ravensburger Eiffel Tower 3-D puzzle to one grandson (age 11) and the Empire State Building one to another (age 13). They both enjoyed putting them together, and they love the way they light up. And even after many nights of being lit up in their bedrooms, the batteries are still good. I will be purchasing more of these as birthdays come around. I can't wait to get the Big Ben one.

Beautiful
My husband bought this to do with our girls. It is a bit hard for younger children, but older children should be able to do it. We had fun and it is REALLY pretty once you get it put together. Only took us about an hour. We plan on ordering more to do!

Construction kit in puzzle form.
The puzzle was exactly what we wanted and it is well worth the five stars I gave it, but you may want to know about the building process. The model is more of a construction toy in puzzle format. Each piece has a number on the back and an arrow showing where the next piece attaches. The instructions tell you which numbers are for the bottom, middle, and top sections. We sorted the pieces into three sections then put them in order. From that point, the assembly was very easy; there is no puzzle as to where the pieces go. Near the top where the tower narrows it is a bit more difficult to get the pieces to go together, but they do and all the pieces hold together well. The plastic is translucent so the light on the base shines through and the finished product is attractive.

Love it!!
Love these puzzles, they look so cool ! Just would have been nice for this to come with the multi colored lights light others and of course the switch on the bottom is a pain but still highly recommended

So fun!
I was looking for something that would be fun to do in the evening with my fiance. This one filled the bill. We had a great time putting it together, but the best part was when the assembly was done. It lights up with the help of 3 AAA batteries and is it ever cool. You can either have a steady light or changing multi-colored lights and it's beautiful. The pieces got together easily and we were able to do it in an evening while talking, snacking, and watching TV. It made for a fun evening. I would say it takes a little bit of patience because you are building something that is 3d. I'm not sure what the puzzle pieces are made of, they are plastic coated at the least. I don't think they are completely plastic though. The light part is a plastic box with the works in it and you put the batteries in it and then it sets in a plastic base that you build the puzzles on. The finished puzzle is a quite tall. It comes in a nice sturdy box and would be absolutely great as a gift for a puzzle lover. We are looking forward to doing more of these. It made for a fun evening.

Bought as Christmas Gift....Amazing!!
Update: We put this together today and at first I was bummed out it did not have specific instructions, but they are not needed, once you begin with the instructions provided it is easy to continue. We absolutely love this, it is much bigger than imagined. Including a couple of pictures. My daughter saw this and she went WOW; she loves the Eiffel Tower, her dream is to visit it some day!

Granddaughter loves it
12-year-old granddaughter put it together with her mom and dad and loves it. The lighted version is awesome. I think the non-lighted version would be boring. It was not as difficult to put together as some comments would lead one to believe, and it held together fine as they were making it. I call it a winner.

First 3D puzzle ever and I love it
My first 3D puzzle ever and it was so much fun to put together. The pieces are very durable, considering you're required to bend the pieces that come with creases. This isn't a typical puzzle. Rather than trying to find which piece goes together (which I think would be almost impossible to do), each piece is numbered with an arrow pointing to where the next piece needs to go. I spent a good couple hours putting the whole thing together, making sure all the pieces lined up. When it was finally completed and I turned the LED on, it was prettier than the picture. The lights definitely made this even more special. You have the option of choosing white lights, or cycling lights (5 colors altogether). The base is basically the plastic container that holds the light in place and keeps the materials from moving around inside the box. So it's not a solid base and the edges are a bit flimsy if you want to move the tower from one room to another. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I'm definitely getting another 3D puzzle.
